Bipartisanship and our Democratic Values
Lesson Plan
Congress’ ability to work across the aisle is sometimes strong and sometimes challenged. In this two-day inquiry lesson, students will begin by brainstorming shared democratic values. Then, using case studies from historic congressional investigations, they will analyze the level of bipartisanship that is being practiced to answer the question, “Does bipartisanship bring us closer to our democratic values?”
