We are thrilled to welcome Joel Burkey to our civic education team! Joel has joined us on Monday as our second Civic Ed Outreach Coordinator and will bring our Learning by Hearings materials to high school classrooms across Michigan. Joel has over 30 years experience as a high school U.S. history and government teacher and even used our materials in his classroom before joining us!
