Learning by Hearings was excited to attend their first event as a team of three, as we welcome Claral Modlin as our Civic Education Outreach Coordinator. Participating in the Oakland School Social Studies Leadership Network allows our staff to network with professionals in Oakland County, enhance their skills, and learn about new and emerging approaches to education. This month, we focused on how centering hope in social studies education can increase student engagement and combat despair.
