Free, In-Person Professional Development for Educators

Learning by Hearings provides free professional development for high school and middle school social studies educators in Michigan. All of our PDs are run by former Michigan social studies teachers. Each of our PDs are tailored to your district’s calendar and goals. All include an introduction to the Levin Center, an overview of congressional oversight, and a deep dive into one or more of our materials. We strongly believe in the power of experiential PD; as former teachers, we know that professional development is most valuable when teachers are given time to explore resources and see them used in real time.
